Merry Christmas!!!

I particularly always look forward to December because it reminds me of the great sacrifice, that Jesus paid on my behalf by leaving his glorious home to be born as a baby. Also its a very colorful time of the year with a lot of feasting and partying. 

Elevation Church Lekki had their staff end of year party and trust your favorite brand to leave a memorable trail behind. Our candy stand, decorations and props were the subject of discuss all through the event. We had a delightful and sumptuous spread of chocolate, vanilla, red velvet cupcakes, variety of candies and our famous chocolate fountain dipping station!

I am truly humbled at the awesome feedback received and we give our word to strive towards greater heights.

Assemble the Minions!!!

Our minion party slayed!!!! Oluwadarasimi fondly called "Baby Dara" turned 1 in November and Oaks Candy station was involved in the planning and execution of the birthday party. From selecting the event location, to decorating, DJ and MC  and assisting with the party program OCS had a fantastic time. The guests and children had a smashing time, as there were games and activities to engage all age groups.

I love cakes as much as I love my candies. Baking is my relaxation remedy. I always look forward to getting off my 9-5 job so I can rush home to the kitchen and whip up some cake if there's none in the fridge. My guests have gotten accustomed to having a cupcake or 2 whenever they come visiting. Only God knows how am neither on the big or overweight. This is another passion of mine converted into an entrepreneurial venture. 

I'm still learning and really looking forward to formal training as I would call myself a self taught baker, thanks to Food network and baking classes on YouTube.

Here are a couple of orders I have pulled through. 

#SuKing2016

I have been delaying putting up this post because I was unable to get good pictures of the outing.  2 weeks ago we catered to #SuKing2016 wedding and it was a blast....I'll need to invest in a phone with a good camera (IPhone 7 loading...lol). The event's lighting didn't really help the pictures, but you can tell the guests had a swell time at our candy buffet.

The couple wanted something unique for their guests and we at OCS came up with the right menu of themed caramel popcorn, white chocolate dipping with fruits, marshmallows, varieties of candies, customized chocolate bars and a tier of glazed donuts. 

In addition to the candy table, we had helium filled balloons spelling out - LOVE. This truly added soo much glam to the reception venue. 

Twaz certainly a memorable event for us at OCS. Wishing Kingsley and his lovely wife a beautiful married life filled with with abundant blessings.

Princess Nuvo's 1st Birthday

Princess Nuvo turned 1 in August and her parents selected Disney's Princess Sophia theme for her Birthday party.

For us at OCS this was really exciting as we had started preparations long before the party date. This certainly was one theme we pulled off quite easily despite the environmental sanitation exercise held on the party day, which required us to get to venue as early as 6am.

We chose to do a 3 coloured balloon arch, Princess Sophia lollipop dress skirt, customised chocolate bars, cupcake tower, popcorn, marshmallows, eclairs etc. For the candy table.

The kiddies sitting area was not left out as we had themed table setting for them.

Both adults and kids had fantastic party most especially the celebrant herself!
